Right at the beginning. I had the foresight to dictate a lot of notes to slave on our journey from the OWK to Prague so that nothing would be forgotten.
The trip had been booked a month or two previously. Myself and My slave were very much looking forward to it, so I was somewhat disappointed to receive a text from slave two days before our trip to say he had a cold. Great. I spoke to him on the phone and told him what extra vitamins to take to try and get him on the mend asap. Nothing was going to stop this trip! slave was a little worried that I would cancel the trip altogether, as he knows how I hate to be around people with colds, but with everything booked, and slave telling Me he felt he was capable of going and that it was 'only a cold', all the plans stayed in place.
The trip started last Saturday with an especially early start for Me when My alarm clock woke Me from My slumber at 5am. I had done most of My packing the night before, so it was just a matter of trying to get My bulging suitcase closed. I rang slave and asked what room he had in his, so his load was made a little heavier with the inclusion of some of My clothing.
I got a lift to Birmingham airport where I met slave at 8am for our 10.30 flight. (So much for Me trying to sneak out of the country though - A couple of days later I received a note from a male saying he had seen Me at the airport lol).
The flight was on time and without incident. slave amused Me with some games we could play on the plane and the time passed quickly.
We were expecting to be met by the OWK driver at the arrival lounge. Unfortunately there was a bit of a delay, so whilst we were waiting we took a trip to the supermarket at the airport. We weren't sure about the food set-up at the OWK, so we got a few bits and pieces to tide us over should we encounter a problem with meals there. The most important purchase being 10 eggs, but more about that in another post.....
When our driver, David, arrived he was accompanied by a Woman. I immediately presumed that she was a Lady of the OWK, but it turns out she was David's wife. This became quite evident at they were so obviously in love and couldn't take their eyes off one another - newly weds I presume!
The car journey from the airport to the OWK took 2.5 hours. This was a little longer than I expected, and I soon began to ask slave, who had made a note of the towns near the OWK, "Are we nearly there yet?", . The journey comprised mostly of motorway, and just when I was beginning to get a bit stir crazy, we pulled off onto country lanes. A few minutes later and I could see the gates of the OWK in front of us. Immediate excitement over took the tiring feeling that the motorway had caused, as we pulled up and the infamous gates were opened and we drove inside the OWK compound.

There was a car park with enough room for about 10 cars or so. One side was dedicated to Women, the other side for everyone else. There were no other cars there.
Our bags were unloaded by David and My slave and we were taken into the OWK shop (which is based in the New House) to check in and get the paper work side of things out of the way. Whilst slave was sorting this out, I took a walk around the shop. It was packed full of everything you could want in a visit to the OWK; many dvds, posters and pictures, shoes, some clothing, t-shirts, whips, canes, shackles, floggers, even some furniture.

With the admin side completed, David showed us to My room. This was also located in the New House.

I was very pleased with My room. It was large, and accommodated two single beds. There was also a small television with dvd player, a fridge, radio, glasses, candles, and towels. In the corner was a caged area with a fold down wooden bed, a St Andrews cross, and an A frame bench type thing (I'm sure it must have a proper name!), as shown in the picture above. The room was lovely and warm too, with plenty of wardrobe space and a nice bathroom.
It was early evening and still light and quite warm outside. As soon as the bags were in the room, David offered to show us around the estate, and also show Me the options were slave could be sleeping that night. slave wasn't going to be sleeping in My room, as much as I am sure he would have loved being locked in the cage for the evening in the same room as Me. But as always, with any male I go away with, separate rooms apply. I need a good night of undisturbed sleep.
David took us on the tour of the Queen's Palace, underground dungeon/cells, gym, school room, slave reception area, billiard hall, more dungeons, museum, library, billiard hall, banquet hall, throne hall. All of these were contained in the Queens Palace, which I shall write more about in future posts. One of the options for slaves 'bed' for the evening was in the underground cells.
We were then shown the Riding Hall.

One end of the Riding Hall was filled with horse carts and buggies. At the other end was the possible sleeping area for slave for the evening. Yes, it is EVERY bit as harsh at it looks! Next to these beds were a couple of stables with straw covered floors, another option for slave to sleep in - IF he got any sleep that is!

We were briefly shown the Sports Park where the pony track is, but light was fading and it wasn't well lit, so I decided I could explore that in the morning. Then it was off to the pub!
The pub is located in the Long House. Upon entering the Long House, we were greeted by an area for shoe/boot cleaning, stocks, toys, pool table, and comfortable leather black settees. I made a mental note to return to that area later in the evening.
In the pub we were greeted by a German slave who was leaving the next morning, but I already had plans for him before he left! Anyway, the pub was also the dinning area were breakfast, lunch and dinner would be served.
In fact, apart from the German slave (called bohous), and David, the housekeeper, we were the only visitors there, much to My delight. I had kind of hoped that this would be the case for My first visit. Having experience having the OWK to Myself now, next time it would be nice to interact with other Mistresses.
Here is an aerial view of the OWK grounds.

In the meantime I am back home, and it's almost business as usual. I am still a little tired from My adventures in the Czech Republic, but I will be back into the swing of things by Monday.
I have been asked to be a guest Mistress at a party tonight, and I am looking forward to that. From what I gather most of the guests are new to BDSM so I will enjoy introducing them to this wonderful world!

Greetings Mistress Evita!
So glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip to the OWK. I am a little envious that you also made it to Prague as well. If you are inclined, please include pics of Prague in your posts.
David was also the person who drove us. He was alone when we met him but he did speak fondly of his wife. Clearly his wife knows of his interest in the lifestyle and I thought of how special and fortunate they are to have found one another. He told us that after he met her and knew he was serious about her, he told her, and it was heartwarming to hear him talk about how she accepted him and his unique employment.
Looking forward to reading more.
Hello Catwoman. Thank you for dropping by :-)
I will be happy to post some Prague city pictures. I hope I've captured the feel of it.
Ah, interesting re David. I did wonder about his exact position in the household of the OWK as although very helpful, polite and professional, he didn't strike Me as a slave of the OWK.
He said that he had been there for about 10 years. When the OWK first opened, there was a handyman/servant for each building in the compound. One for the Long House, one for the New House, one for the Queen's Palace etc, but over the years the Queen dismissed all the others, and only he remains now. I said to him he must be very good at his job to remain in service and to have (theoretically at least) 'seen off' the other servants.
Yes, he is indeed very fortunate to have met such a lovely and understanding Wife.
